Upgraded Outdoor Living

Posted on under Indiana Design

After clearing away the grime and debris from winter, decks and patios are ready for a revamp in time for warmer weather and outdoor entertaining. When planning for the season you may want to consider changes to design or layout, in accordance with how your family uses the space, or how you plan to entertain in your outdoor areas. If so, it might be time to update with fresh new furniture. Godby Hearth & Home at the Indiana Design Center offers everything needed for gracious and comfortable outdoor entertaining.

A modern neutral dining set is sleek and elegant in this space, without detracting from the beauty of the pool and surroundings.

Godby, an IDC mainstay, has recently undergone a showroom redesign. What has always been a beautiful and sleek space in which to work on projects with their sales team, has incorporated some product displays for fireplace and hearth products, as well as some curated selections from their extensive outdoor furniture lines. “We really wanted to showcase some of the furniture that we carry so our clients can see and feel these pieces in person as they plan their outdoor spaces,” says Brian Adams, owner of Godby Hearth & Home.

This seating area features traditional metal and fabric details, and invites guests to relax on the plush, cushioned seats.

They carry a variety of high-end brands that offer many options. “Metal frames are popular, with the clean, modern lines that many of our clients prefer, but we offer traditional styles as well,” says Adams. For upholstery, lightweight, high-performance fabric in a sling style is a smart choice, with its ease of use, but the deep-seating, cushioned styles with luxury outdoor fabrics are the ultimate in comfortable outdoor lounging. Selections include dining tables and chairs as well as sofas, side chairs and coffee tables.

The team at Godby Hearth & Home assist clients every day to help make the best selections for outdoor furniture and entertaining. Stop by their showroom at the Indiana Design Center to see these pieces in person.
