“Daydream Meets Reality at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery”
Some women get lost in a daydream in their favorite shoe store. I, on the other hand, felt like I was walking in the clouds when I stepped into the two-story Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery showroom at the Indiana Design Center. It’s filled with the prettiest and shiniest bath and kitchen hardware, the coolest and funkiest pendant lighting, and top-of-the-line kitchen appliances. I’m honored that the Indiana Design Center has invited me to frequent their building and photograph anything that catches my eye. What I quickly realized, was that I’m going to need a lot more time there. Everywhere I turned, I found myself picking up my jaw. I am already looking forward to my next visit! Take a look at a handful of my favorite products at the Ferguson showroom.
1. Appliances
As you can imagine, this was the first thing that caught my eye. The glossy red lacquer refrigerator freezer by Thermador was a definite show-stopper.
I also love this display of Wolf ovens.
Not only are their products top-notch, but they offer a sleek and minimal design, and their customer service is unbeatable. Can you believe this Wolf built-in coffee system?
It can brew two roasts at a time, it can handle whole bean or ground coffee, you can control the strength from extra-mild to extra-strong, and its durable and intuitive design makes for manageable cleaning.
2. Lighting
“Less is more” is almost always my motto when it comes to design. Especially when referring to lighting. I love a big, bold statement pendant, and here are just a few that I happen to love.
3. Faucets & Showerheads
I have a strong appreciation for clean lines when it comes to bath and kitchen fixtures. A few of the brands that I gravitate towards are Delta, Brizo and Dornbracht because, well, just look at their beautiful products below!
If you have not visited the Ferguson showroom recently, I highly recommend you plan a little field trip. Your eyes will appreciate it, and you’ll leave inspired. This place is oozing with style!
About Mod Abode by Jamie Sangar:
Mod Abode was started out of a passion for three things; photography, architecture and design. A photographer by trade, I figured, what the heck–why not combine all of my passions into one. Thus, Mod Abode was born! For as long as I can remember, I have loved design. I’ve always been particularly drawn to modern design. It has always been a favorite pastime to pick up the latest issue of Dwell Magazine and gawk over the stunning modern architecture and clean, minimalist interiors. And every store catalog I receive in the mail containing simple yet bold interior accessories, has a rather long shelf life in my home, because I love to study the featured rooms photographed so beautifully inside the issue. Since starting my photography business in 2006, I’ve had many opportunities to photograph our travels, our home, and lots and lots of happy moments in peoples’ lives. After being a general contractor on the build of our own modern home here in Indianapolis, Indiana, I gained an even stronger appreciation of modern craftsmanship and functional homes built with form in mind. So here you have it, Mod Abode is a broad range of things that interest me, related to modern homes, for modern enthusiasts.
