The Curio Room
Collaboration within the Indiana Design Center
Meet The Curio Room, featured in the 2026 Indianapolis Decorators’ Show House & Gardens. Visitors were able to see The Manor on Meridian transformed, with each room featuring a unique design. GreyHunt Interiors, Drapery Street, Ferguson Home, and Priority Painting all left their mark on The Curio Room, with the Indiana Design Center serving as the link among them.
Rather than coordinating across multiple locations, designers collaborate directly with lighting, cabinetry, textiles, paint, and furnishing specialists all in our building. Each element builds on the next, creating a cohesive flow that carries through the entire space.
GreyHunt Interiors set the design direction, Drapery Street chose fabrics for the window treatments, Ferguson Home specified lighting fixtures that fit the atmosphere, and Priority Painting & Finishes installed the swirl-patterned blue wallpaper that brings movement, depth, and a moody character to the space.
“Grey Hunt Interiors envisioned a space full of drama, richness, and unexpected moments, and our custom draperies became one of those defining details. From the luxurious Vervain face fabric to the gleaming gold hardware and statement tiebacks that reveal the striking teal lining, every element was intentionally designed to create a sense of discovery. It’s a beautiful reminder that custom window treatments don’t have to be just a finishing touch; they can be part of the storytelling;’ said Caryn O’Sullivan, owner Drapery Street.
Lighting from Ferguson further defines the room’s experience, enhancing materials and adding life to the space.

The Curio Room reflects what makes the Indiana Design Center unique: a connected design community where collaboration is built into the process. Projects become the result of aligned expertise working within a shared environment, creating interiors that feel intentional from start to finish.
